Inspections and Plan Reviews
The Inspections and Prevention Division is responsible for the compliance of Fire Codes within the District. To accomplish this, we follow the Fire Codes adopted by the municipalities within our district or Travis County in accordance with the International Fire Code.
Our duties include:
- Code compliance to ensure safety
- Business building inspections
- Apartment building inspections
- Foster home inspections
- Collaborating with responsible parties to resolve code violations
Outdoor Burning
Any fire within the City of Jonestown is required to have a valid & approved Burn Permit (burn permit application). Print the permit, make check or money order payable to Travis County ESD 1 and turn both in at Fire Station 102 located at 18300 Park Dr., Jonestown, TX. 78645. A site inspection will follow after permit has been turned in.
